|4| Exemplar Projects: Flexible, Robert Kronenburg |

Here is a series of different image scanned from the book "Flexible Architecture that Responds to Change" by Robert Kronenburg. each image holds a different inspiration to me and I will describe this underneath each image.

The above image to me represents a form of mobile architecture through its flexibility in location and spatial arrangement.

This above images represents the idea of a "base". When the mobile architecture arrives and/or inhabitants it becomes activated and the architecture changes.

This above image represents flexible architecture through its ability to adapt, refine and reform. Its also really simple in materiality which combines with the unique form making it an architectural icon.

The images represents the activation of a building through inhabitance and interaction.

The above two images are a perfect example of mobile architecture. The images show a truck and trailer which expands and forms a moveable space for people to interact with, in any location, at any time.

The above four images all represent other forms of mobile architecutre. Each of the examples have the ability to be moved and reformed at any location. The mode of transport and infrastructure thats gets them there is the only difference. This could be fixed infrastructure or rely on something external to achieve this mobility.....
